RELEASE DATE: NOVEMBER 7, 2020
A PARANORMAL-THEMED LIVE STREAMING EVENT hosted by the Queen Mary resident magician and a third party production company was presented from aboard the ship over Halloween weekend 2020. ParaXplorer Project did not participate.
Guests in attendance and paranormal community members inquiring event organizers about our absence were told "ParaXplorer Project has left the ship". This created a flow of emails and messages coming our way expressing concern, even well after the event ended. Because of public response, we feel an official statement is warranted:
Let it be known that ship management has not released ParaXplorer Project from its duties (we were in communication with officials shortly before the event), and the team has not opted to say "Goodbye". Why event organizers would forward this disinformation is up for debate.
In a few weeks, ParaXplorer Project will celebrate the start of its nineth year as Queen Mary's designated Resident Paranormal Investigators. Thus far, we have spent over 6,000 hours aboard investigating her most para-active areas, and conducted Paranormal Investigation Tours for more than 25,000 guests, many of whom have seen personal philosophical changes inspired by the experience.
As with other Queen Mary crew members who have not permanently moved on to other work opportunities, the team is waiting out current COVID-19 pandemic conditions for the day our work can resume as usual. In the meantime, we have revamped our vast Queen Mary Paranormal Profile Archive for future generations to reference, results of which are presented in a YouTube video shared here. We are also continuing to research and analyze collected data with conclusions to be posted here and on our official Facebook page.
We have always appreciated the public's long-lasting, generous support, and look forward to the day we are able to join you aboard once again.
